DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERSHIPS

Direct Debit Service Agreement

    1. Just Sports’ N’ Fitness will debit the account No# or Credit Card nominated.
    2. If you want to make changes to the drawing arrangements, please contact Just Sports N’ Fitness for:
    • Change of Details
    • Stopping an individual debit-must be processed at the facility &

                Witnessed by a staff member, (No emails or phone calls will be processed.)Direct Debit membership is offered on two options:

    • “No contract membership”, 1 minimum payment required.
    • “Contracted membership” option is for a minimum 12 month period (52 weekly payments), after which your debit will continue until you cancel.
    1. Cancellation of all direct debit memberships requires 30 days notice which can be done in person at the facility that you joined at, or the facility most local to you.
    2. Cancellation of “Contracted Membership” requires pay out of the remainder amount owed to Just Sports N Fitness. You may elect to transfer this membership to someone of your choosing, however a $59 transfer applies and the person must complete the joining forms.
    3. All Direct debit types require notice in writing. This can be done at one of our centres or emailed to you after contacting one of our centres. If emailed to you, your cancellation will be processed once the email has been received by JUST.
    4. All Direct Debit accounts will require a $59 set up admin fee and $40 card fee. Set up admin fee applies for each cancellation and re-sign up of an account.
    5. Your Direct Debit payment will be taken out on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis, on a day designated by you in your agreement. Public Holidays can cause delays.
    6. There is a 48 hour cooling off period from the time of signing.
    7. If you wish to terminate within the 48 hour Cooling Off Period, all moneys paid will be refunded except for set up admin fee and card fee.
    8. Debit fees will be absorbed by the users, including one off debit administration fee (where applicable). Transaction fees applicable.
    9. All personal customer information held by us will be kept confidential except that information provided to our financial institution to initiate the drawing to your nominated account.
    10. It is your responsibility to ensure that your nominated account can accept direct debits and that you advise us if the nominated account is closed or changed. You also need to ensure that on the due date, clear funds are available in your nominated account. Any failed payments, dishonours or re-drawing of fees will result in the fees being added to your following direct debit.
    11. Direct all enquiries to us, rather than your financial institution and these should be made at least 4 working days prior to the next scheduled drawing date. All communication addressed to us should include your membership card number or account number.
    12. If you believe that a drawing has been initiated incorrectly, we encourage you to take the matter up directly with us by contacting us on (07) 32822801 during business hours.
    13. If you do not receive a satisfactory response from us to your dispute, contact your financial institution who will respond to you with an answer to your claim.
    • Within 7 business days (for claims lodged within 12 months of the disputed drawing)
    • Within 30 business days (for claims lodged more than 12 months after the disputed drawing)
    1. You will receive a refund of the drawing amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.Membership on Hold Periods:

    Direct Debit: You may Freeze your membership for a maximum of 4 weeks per year

    Paid in Full: 12 Months:  4 weeks

                        6 Months:  2 weeks

    1. You are required to sign for Freeze (Hold or Suspension) for membership at the Health Club witnessed by a staff member. Additional on hold time can be requested in the case of extenuating medical circumstances. A medical certificate must be provided.Paid in Full Memberships
      1. All paid in full memberships are non-refundable unless you are permanently or physically incapacitated. (A pro rata fee will apply for the no# of days you have been a member & a medical certificate will need to be provided.)
      2. 1, 3, 6, month memberships can be upgraded to 12 months within 1st 30 days by paying the balance.

      All Membership Categories:

      1. Patrons may be required to provide a medical clearance from their GP prior to starting an exercise program. Members are responsible for informing the club of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect their ability to perform an exercise programme.
      2. All members must have appropriate footwear, towel, clothing and personal hygiene when attending. Offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.
      3. Group fitness classes & instructors are subject to change without notice.
      4. Standard replacement member card $5.00, 24 access tags $40

    Acknowledgement

    I/We have read the Service Agreement, Terms Conditions & Direct Debit Request and agree to it.

    I/We authorise the Financial Institution to release information to Just Sports n’ Fitness to vary my/our account details.

    I/We authorise the direct debit arrangement to remain in accordance with the Schedule Overleaf and in compliance with the

    Service Agreement for the Direct Debit Request.

    12 Week Challenge T&C’s:

    2. Member will be contacted by a JUST trainer and a 15 minute appointment will be made to take photos in designated spot, take measurements and body scan as well as process challenge payment
    3. Challenge sign up fee is $69 per person
    4. Challenge starts 1st of August 2024
    5. If you are not a  membe, you can sign up to a no lock in contract DD or any upfront membership to join the challenge
    6. Includes a complimentary phone call check in with the challenge participant at the 5 and 9 week mark from a designated trainer
    7. Winners determined by a judging panel via subjective metrics and announced 1st of November.  Criteria include but not limited to: photo progress, fat loss, circumference measurements, body scan results
    8. Must be over 18 years old to particpate
    Challenge Prizes:
    Overall challenge winner receives $1000 cash.

    First place – $500 membership credit

      Learn To Swim – Refer a friend promotion:

      • One winner per facility.
      • Referrals finish 30thSeptember 2023, with winners drawn 5th October 2023.
      • Each unique referral is a new entry to the draw to win.
      • Relevant referral must confirm that they know you as a contact.
      • Referrals are unlimited.
      • Referrals cannot be used across multiple sites.
      • Referrals must be genuine and friends/family of the person referring them.
      • Referrals must be new learn to swim members.

      Gym and Fitness – Refer a friend promotion:

        • Referral must sign up as a member on either of 12 months upfront, or one of the Direct debit $15.90 12 month contract or $17.90 no contract, with all relevant administrative and card fees paid.
        • One month free is either added to your upfront commitment or your direct debit paused for a timeframe of 4 weekly direct debits or 2 fortnightly direct debits.
        • Referrals are uncapped (if 12 members are referred and sign up, you are entitled to 12 months free).
        • Referral member subject to full terms and conditions of gym/swim membership.
        • Referral member subject to pre-exercise health screening.
        • Cannot be used with any other promotion.
        • If referral choses to redeem $2 for 2 week promotion, they must remain a valid paying member for a period of 8 direct debit payment cycles or 3 months whichever happens first, before 1 month is eligible to be redeemed.

      $2 for 2 weeks promotion:

        • Starting from the day of first sign up $1 will be debited to cover the first 7 days and $1 debited on the 8th day.
        • From the 15th day of signing up, a current Direct debit option will start:

      Bundamba Gym Challenge:

      – If there is a tie between attendances then those members will go into a hat and a winner will be drawn.
